Meet the team
Duncan travels the length and breadth of the UK and beyond to educate, inform and (sometimes) entertain. This technical specialist is a problem-solver, zooming in on detail and pulling back to see the big picture. A consultant to advisers and business owners, he knows everything that can and can’t be done with self-invested pensions. Pay no heed to the bloke down the pub. For the truth, ask Duncan.
Chief Executive Officer
Nat takes the lead in making sure we’re always able to deliver. This dedicated, tireless and frankly irreplaceable individual is always looking at what’s next, what’s better and when we can have it. A juggler of perfectly organised balls, she’s a supporter, an opportunity-giver and a firm-but-fair Mum to all our teams. A forward thinker, she puts as much energy into perfecting our systems as she does baking cakes, though not at the same time.
Chief Operating Officer
Mike doesn’t believe that wearing a suit and tie makes you professional, which is why he’s a breath of fresh air in what can be a somewhat stuffy industry. He works with Marketing & Communications Manager Marcus to ensure that we do all the things that every pension provider knows they should do, but most don’t do terribly well.
Steve is part of the pension industry furniture, having looked after more self-invested schemes in 30+ years than most people have had hot dinners (even people who love pies and have just received a telegram from the Queen). Steve has a keen eye to help clients implement strategies to achieve the best returns with new and existing SSASs and unit trusts, and luckily for us loves to pass on the benefit of his wisdom to our wider teams.
Business Development Manager
Animal-loving Pearl is bizarrely keen on all things numerical, which makes her the ideal person to head up our burgeoning Accounts team. Though her attitude and work rate sees her hoovering up ever more fiscal responsibility, she’s never satisfied at “OK” when it comes to Scheme Accounts, Invoicing, Corporate Accounts or her baking efforts (though she’s far too self-deprecating about those).
One of the longest-serving members of the team, Tracey has bags of experience across all aspects of self-invested pensions and recently completed a Diploma in HR practice. Over the years she’s had loads of roles within TPSG, helping us grow into the pensions force we’ve become. Following the huge success with achieving her Diploma, we're proud to have her supporting Managers and the Board in all things falling under HR. She's also very big on tea.
Bernadette is blazing a trail as our head of property. Best described as intelligent, witty and northern, her professionalism has already made her a valued team member and marked her out as a rising star. We’re lucky to have her looking after all aspects of property work at TPSG (she’s especially keen on refining processes).
Our highly motivated Marketing & Comms Manager has a wealth of experience in e-commerce websites. Highly adaptable and dependably good at everything, he loves nothing more than looking into how technology can help our clients. Marcus is a real team player and a connoisseur of fine banter, as happy being on the receiving end as he is dishing it out.

Maria is extremely good at easing burdens. As Personal Assistant to the Board, this booker of hotels and trains and organiser of fine spreads has no off switch. She contributes to all areas of our business and it’s true to say that we couldn’t do without her (especially not Duncan). She’s fiercely protective of our brand and all it stands for. We love her.

As Personal Assistant to Nat and Mike, this booker of meetings and hotels and organiser of all things office related, is always ready and willing to help with a smile. Lucy shares her love of fine wine with Maria and together they form the perfect team. We couldn’t do it without her!
